If a position is listed with both office locations and virtual offerings, Comcast may be willing to consider candidates who live greater than 100 miles from the office for the remote option.)Job SummaryThis team builds customer and workforce authentication and authorization services that support multiple Comcast PaaS (Platform as a Service) products like X1, EntOs, and B2B. We work with hundreds of app clients inside Comcast and Sky, along with the Identity and Cyber Security teams of our syndicated partners. This role will focus on the operation of the platform, including observability, stability, optimization, and CICD. The role will also focus on external integration with our partner apps and identity providers.Job DescriptionCore Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable Cloud infrastructure and systems to support multiple authentication and authorization platforms for Comcast and its customers.

Develop and maintain automation scripts and tooling to reduce manual tasks and improve efficiency in managing infrastructure.

Implement and manage monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues. Assistincident response efforts and post-mortems to ensure continuous improvement.

Analyze system performance metrics and work on tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting of applications and infrastructure.

Design and implement infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar. Ensure that infrastructure is version-controlled, repeatable, and easily deployable.

Ensure the security and compliance of infrastructure and applications. Implement best practices for secure deployments, monitoring, and security incident response.

Analyze current and future resource needs and develop plans to meet business growth while optimizingresources.

Collaborate with theonboarding and integration of stakeholders’ applications.

Offer support for systems and network troubleshootingrelated to applications and client teams.

Mentorteam members by knowledgesharing and collaborating.

Communicate effectively with both engineering and leadership teams, ensuring clarity and alignment.

Actively engage in Agile team ceremonies, helping to balance and prioritize stakeholder demands and technical debt.

Participate in on-call support rotations to meet the needs of our client applications.

Must Have Skills:

5+ years of SRE or experience designing, deploying, and operatingCloud infrastructure.

2+ years of software development in Java, Terraform.

Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.

Strong experience with Cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Concourse, Gitlab CI or similar.

Deep understanding of networking, firewalls, Linux/Unix systems, and system architecture.

Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Search, or similar.

Experience with AuthN/AuthZ protocols like SAML, OIDC, OAuth.

Knowledge in CyberSecurity best practices: endpoint security, vulnerability management, data encryption, credential rotations, access control.
