Description
Schedule and dispatch drivers and vehicles for passenger transportation, while providing exceptional customer service for both internal and external customers.
Job Functions
Schedule and dispatch drivers and vehicles to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs, using computers and telephones.
Relay work orders, messages, and information to or from drivers.
Monitor personnel and vehicle locations and coordinate service and schedules.
Determine types or amounts of vehicles and personnel required according to work orders or specifications.
Responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are returned at the end of a shift.
Keep customers informed by answering questions.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Accomplished organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Position Requirements:
Education
High School Diploma or equivalency
Experience
Some previous dispatching/customer service-related skills, knowledge or experience is preferred
Skills
Must be able to work a rotating schedule and must be able to work any shift/ any day (days, nights, weekends, holidays)
Excellent active Listener: giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

Pay
Starting at $18.00 per hour for a Qualified Dispatcher / Scheduler
