Canvassers Wanted for Community Education Campaign! $21-23hr

Pennsylvania, Philadelphia

Vacancy caducado!

Hiring Immediately - Canvassers Needed!

Full-time & Part-time $21-23/hr

This is Not a Fundraising Position.

Join our campaign to educate Pennsylvanians about the Inflation Reduction Act!

We’re urgently hiring door-to-door campaign staff to educate Pennsylvanians about the benefits of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). Canvassers are paid hourly to engage members of the public about the benefits of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and connect them to clean energy resources. The IRA saves money for individuals and helps combat climate change by providing benefits to homeowners who utilize energy efficient home upgrades. Taking advantage of the IRA benefits reduces our environmental footprint and improves the quality of life for Pennsylvanians. Unfortunately, too few residents know about the IRA or how to access these benefits. Our goal is to provide the public with information on these tangible benefits to reduce their monthly costs while also fighting the climate crisis.

This role is a great opportunity to gain experience in the following areas: Leadership, Communication & Advocacy, Community Outreach & Engagement, Campaign Work, Public Policy, and Social Enterprise.

Get paid well! Canvass positions start at $21/hour. Leadership positions start at $23/hour. We offer overtime pay, driver bonuses, paid training, bonuses, and sick pay.

Stay Safe! We have strict health and safety protocols that include a contactless approach to campaign work. We provide all of the training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) you will need.

Locations: Work will be done in Feasterville-Trevose, PA. Candidates outside of that area should expect to commute.

We are committed to equity, inclusion, and anti-racism. We are an equal opportunity employer and we strongly encourage Black, indigenous, people of color, women, people with previous felony convictions, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and others who identify with underrepresented groups to apply.
