Behavior Intervention Specialist II (BIS II)

The SMART Behavior Intervention Specialist II has a minimum of one year supervisory experience and three years clinical experience including working in a CASSP system. This position functions as an assistant to the Clinical Manager, is responsible for managing a case load of up to twenty-five (25) students and has the ability to provide interventions for any student. The BIS II is a child/adolescent mental health clinician, knowledgeable of psychopharmacology, skilled with treatment plan development, skilled with individual and group therapy, skilled with the application of Behavioral Modification, knowledgeable of Functional Behavior Assessment, knowledgeable of a variety of standardized assessment tools and has knowledge of child development.
