Senior Systems Engineer (Malvern, PA)The Systems Engineer is responsible for delivering high quality (subsystems of) products, by meeting user and business requirements, managing complexity, technical leadership, and stakeholder management.Your role:
Managing technological complexity of products in a multi-disciplinary setting. Develops products, independently and according to own judgment, using the latest technologies and resources, often realizing systems based on unverified specifications.
Makes independent choices regarding aspects of the design and gives justifications for changes in specifications.
Formulates assignments in dialogue with customers or users and submits ideas for future developments and provides tangible input for Technology roadmaps.
Develops partly and sometimes wholly new products, process, or technology.
Elicits, reviews, and characterizes stakeholder feedback; and creates and reviews system-user interaction model with various Systems Engineering related Methods/tools.
You are the right fit if:
You have acquired 5+ years of relevant experience in professional engineering with demonstrated technical leadership skills (medical device industry strongly preferred). Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools/methodology strongly preferred.
Your skills include ability to manage complexity, drive results, and persuade stakeholders effectively in the interest of patient safety and quality. You are experienced with relevant medical device industry standards (ISO 14971, IEC 62304, IEC 62366, FDA GMP, etc.)
You have a bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering and/or business discipline and at least 3+ years of medical device industry professional engineering experience.
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
You are an excellent communicator with strong problem-solving skills related to the systems engineering discipline. Ability to influence and lead work groups is desired.

Philips Transparency DetailsThe pay range for this position in Malvern, PA is $97,020 to $166,320.The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
