Are you a Nationally Certified Compounding Pharmacy Technician with compounding experience ready to take your pharmacy career to new heights? Look no furtherRequirements : To be considered for this role you must have the following experience, and certifications:

Must have at least 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Clerk

Must have at least 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician coordinating activities in an administrative support function.

Must have strong Data Entry skills

Must have National Pharmacy Technician Certification – this is a compounding role

Must reside within a reasonable driving distance to Malvern, PA .

High School Diploma or equivalent GED

Excellent Written and verbal skills

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft WORD, Excel and Outlook.

Prior authorization experience

Job Duties: Under direct supervision of a pharmacist, the Pharmacy Compound Technician prepares and packages medication and supplies for shipment to patients. Performs record-keeping functions. Assists in various inventory control processes. Selects, picks, packages, and labels medications and ancillary supplies as per prescriptions, under pharmacist supervision, following Coram CVS specialty guidelines and pharmacy laws. Follows proper hand sanitization and hazardous medication handling procedures. Prepares and compounds sterile products. Maintains the pharmacy cleanroom suite in compliance with USP 797 and USP 800 requirements. Cleans the cleanroom suite, including ceilings, walls, equipment, and all surfaces with approved disinfectants. Documents IV admixture and cleanroom suite sterility testing. Completes appropriate documentation for inventory management and storage, including labels, log sheets, and reports. Accurately counts drugs using manual processes and automated counting devices. Prepares and/or restocks the pharmacy preparation rooms with medication and supplies as needed. Participates in on-call rotation as determined by staffing and business needs.Job Location : Malvern, PA- ONSITEPay- The anticipated wage for this position is between $18 and 18.30Hourly wage depends upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.Schedule -Monday to Friday 830am to 530pm 1 hour lunch -Opportunity for overtime based on business need.Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
