Multimedia Production Specialist

Creates effective internal communications content and plans focused on specific initiatives and changes. Supports in determining the best content for communicating effectively and engaging targeted internal audiences.This role:

Conceptualizes, pitches, and executes multimedia solutions throughout all stages of production. Consults creatively and technically with internal clients to understand their multimedia needs and propose viable options for audiovisual production. Brainstorms, schedules, and prioritizes multiple audiovisual projects in collaboration with cross-functional project teams. Coaches clients as needed during multimedia production.

Directs, produces, and/or edits video and audio projects while ensuring production is on-time, error free, and within budget. Evaluates at each step of the production process that client objectives are being met. Consults and communicates extensively with the client at check points on the production schedule. Creates and tests multimedia production contingency plans to guarantee the end product meets client expectations.

Coaches and collaborates extensively across multimedia specialties and communications disciplines. Directs crew and talent during recordings. Uses industry best practices to deploy an efficient and effective production process and working environment. Troubleshoots creative and technical issues, balances competing priorities, and recommends solutions.

Builds and demonstrates expertise in various multimedia tools and audiovisual means of communication. Maintains deep subject matter expertise in editing, producing, or directing audiovisual projects. Researches emerging multimedia technology and introduces innovative techniques. Facilitates and coaches crew in the adoption of new technology and industry best practices for multimedia production.

Recommends and selects appropriate vendors and suppliers as needed by evaluating and working with freelancers, audiovisual production companies, and other multimedia industry resources.

Creates content that is clear, engaging, and concise. Identifies trends for future application. Recommends creative solutions to ensure successful crew change management as needed.

Applies Vanguard's style, usage, and brand standards to ensure consistency.

Identifies areas for improvement to enhance the effectiveness of communications and its ability to execute on business objectives.

Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

What it takes:

Five years related work experience.

Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Film, video production, or other creative arts degree preferred.
