Lebanon County MH/ID Unit is actively seeking a County Intellectual Disabilities Program Specialist 1 to join our dynamic team of professionals. DESCRIPTION OF WORKThis is a professional administrative position within the Lebanon County MH/ID/EI Program with responsibility for the oversite and communication with the Supports Coordination Organizations (SCO) that the county contracts with. You will be responsible for ensuring that management services in Lebanon County are provided in accordance with established laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards. Work includes identifying factors which impede the effectiveness or quality of case management services provided in Lebanon County You will have the opportunity to develop recommendations and request remediation for changes in policy or procedures to improve services.

Additional duties include but not limited to:

Maintaining positive relationship with ID contracted providers, community agencies, state offices and state facilities to promote effective case management services.

Serving in a consultation and liaison capacity to community agencies.

Interpreting the ID services program to the community.

Participating in local high profile, dual diagnosis, and complex case meetings and service planning development.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment.

Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.

Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Two years of professional experience in the field of intellectual disabilities, and a bachelor's degree; or

An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Other Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions.Legal Requirements:

You must pass a background investigation.

This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
