Job DescriptionThis is a TEMPORARY SUMMER VACATION COVERAGE position. This position begins early July and will end on or before August 30th.Join our production team at GM's Philadelphia Parts Distribution Center. Our parts distribution centers fulfill orders from GM dealers and ACDelco customers.We are looking for motivated individuals for current and potential future opportunities. Team members are also loading, unloading, stocking, and maintaining the warehouse inventory.What You'll Love

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
You prioritize safety and ensure that all work is done in a safe manner, contributing to a culture that values safety above all else
You thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and can quickly adapt to changes in job duties as needed
You take pride in doing high-quality work and can complete tasks within set timeframes
You are skilled in using tools and machinery, including operating mobile equipment to move materials within the assembly plant. This equipment could operate at heights of up to 35 feet
Ready to grow and contribute to our dynamic team
Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling).
Stage parts of loading.
Load finished products onto truck and/or railcar.
Move parts to warehouse for storage.
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence.
Read, comprehend, and follow written, standardized work instructions and trained procedures.
Work cooperatively with others in a team environment.
Complete tasks within designated timeframes to meet operational expectations.
Regularly report for work on time to support startup and throughput goals.

Quick response to safety instructions, alarms, and signals are a must
Ability to work and stand for extended periods
Comfortably wear personal protective equipment
Navigate a busy warehouse
Bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach
May need to lift or carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs. depending on department
Occasional sitting during certain tasks
Drive mobile equipment when needed
