We are looking for an experienced prep cook/garde manger (occasional dishwashing) with availability for 3 weekend evening shifts/week (every Fri/Sat/Sun). We are willing to train those who have a passion for cooking, artistry and learning.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Professional and respectful team player with integrity and a great work ethic
-Prior restaurant prep experience (preferably fine dining)
-Humble, positive can-do attitude, willingness to learn
-Good knife skills, ability to make uniform cuts
-Work clean, be organized, and efficient
-Use/understand FIFO method; Serv-safe certification a plus
-Passion for higher quality food. Willing to try and taste everything, and be familiar with exotic spices and ingredients
-Excellent communication/listening skills
-Punctual, dependable and a hard-working team player
-Knowledge of pastry a plus but not required
