Job DescriptionThe individual in this role will be responsible for meeting with project managers, engineers, and architects to determine build needs, devise construction schedules and timelines, and oversee subcontractors throughout the project. Candidates should have experience with project management and construction, as well as the ability to adhere to deadlines and budgets.
Daily on-site management of construction projects
Always maintaining our company culture of "safety"; leading by example and having a passion for safety excellence.
Responsible for maintaining project schedules, suppliers, cost, and quality.
Ability to effectively communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and owners.
Self-perform carpentry-type items as needed, such as doors, door hardware, blocking, partitions, etc.
Maintain required paperwork, such as daily reports, timesheets, safety audits and drawings.
Act as a mediator between onsite personnel to devise mutually beneficial solutions.
Perform walkthrough and aftercare punch items after project completion.
This person will be hired as a full time w2 employee of Actalent where you will receive an hourly wage, holiday pay, PTO, Benefits (Health, dental, vision insurance). After being an employee of Actalent for 9 months, you will be eligible to transition to the construction firm as a direct employeeQualifications
Three (3) years-minimum experience managing work as a foreman and/or superintendent.
Highschool Diploma or GED require
