Environmental, Health, & Safety Manager – Fleet and Transportation

The EHS Manager partners with area employees, drivers, managers and the director across all designated operations in order to facilitate and improve the region’s ability to meet safety and compliance standards and promote the organizations safety values & principles. The role of the EHS manager is to co-own continuous safety improvement with the Operation Managers and Directors in order to reduce and prevent occupational injuries, vehicle incidents and liability claims.The EHS manager conducts audits, ride a longs, provides technical and professional training for employees, and works shoulder to shoulder with employees to improve the quality and consistency of safety training, standards, communications and program implementation. The position reports directly to the EHS Director with a dotted line reporting relationship to the respective Operations Director.
