Duties:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
- Apply paint and other finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades and tones
- Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas from paint splatters
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
- Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate protective gear
Requirements:
-Must have basic painting hand tools.(Specialty tools like spayers and ext. ladders provided)
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as scrapers, sanders, and brushes
- Knowledge of construction estimating to accurately assess materials and labor needed for projects
- Experience in plastering, masonry, trim carpentry, concrete finishing, or welding is a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects for extended periods of time
