Who We're Hiring:

A full-time skilled Concrete Finisher who possesses a strong background in concrete finishing work and is able to perform safely and effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.

Duties include:

Prepare and set up work areas for concrete pours - including forming, leveling, and grading

Direct the casting of concrete with the truck driver

Mix, pour, and spread concrete according to specifications

Pour, smooth, and level concrete using a rake, trowel, float, and screed to achieve required textures and finishes. This includes handheld and power tool versions

Patch existing surfaces, cut expansion joints, and monitor the curing of the concrete to ensure a high-quality finish

Pour, smooth, and level concrete on a variety of surfaces including roadways, sidewalks, curbs, and floors

Ensure the proper curing of concrete for optimal strength and durability

Clean and inspect surfaces for pouring issues

Conduct repairs on existing concrete surfaces, including restoration work

Conduct quality control checks to ensure that finished work meets industry standards

Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any issues in timely fashion

Collaborate with other trades on-site to ensure smooth workflow and project completion

Complete all paperwork accurately and timely

Provide on-the-job training to laborers

Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean work environment by following personal and jobsite safety protocols and best practices

Follow all company and jobsite policies and procedures

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements include:

Minimum of 5 years concrete finishing experience

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail

Able to operate all tools and concrete equipment associated with concrete finishing work

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints

Mechanical knowledge to address equipment-related challenges

Skilled in heavy lifting and physical endurance

Valid driver's license

Reliable transportation (most jobsites located within a 50-mile radius of Camp Hill, PA)

Available to work nights, weekends, and/or overtime when necessary to meet client or company scheduling needs

Experience with excavation work and equipment is preferred

Pay:

$26 - $40/hour (determined by knowledge, skill, and experience)

Schedule:

Monday - Friday

7:00am - 3:30pm

Start and stop times based on client's schedule. 10-hour days, overtime, nights, and/or weekends required at times to meet client and/or company scheduling needs
