Apply today!Schedule: Three days a week from 7:00 pm. – 7:00 am. 12-hour shifts. No weekends or holidays.Purpose:Under the supervision of physicians and in the presence of a Registered Sleep Technologist (RPSGT, or RRT-SDS, or RST), the Polysomnographic Sleep Technician (Poly tech) is responsible for performing patient care duties and providing customer service to clients of the sleep center, while completing the ASTEP program and on-the-job training.Responsibilities:
Must enroll and complete the ASTEP program within 1 year of hire.
While under direction of senior sleep lab staff according to department policy and procedure.
Prepare patients for sleep testing.
Educate patients on sleep lab testing procedure.
Analyze and score sleep studies.
Perform therapeutic treatments and interventions.
Inventory and restock lab supplies.
Clean equipment and patient rooms.
Performs other duties as assigned
Complete monthly ISR as a training scorer.
Attend monthly staff meeting and required department/facility training.
Performs duties in accordance with system-wide competencies and behaviors.
HS diploma (required)
and 6 months relevant experience in an allied-health field (preferred).
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist must be obtained within 2 years of hire.
BLS required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
