Join our team as an Equal Opportunity Specialist 2 with BDISBO and become part of the Commonwealth's driving force to support and implement policies and programs providing equal access to strategic and sustainable relationships with both the Commonwealth and its suppliers for qualified small businesses, small diverse businesses, and Veteran owned businesses.This position provides technical guidance and assistance to eligible businesses on the self-certification process, performs goal setting calculations, and reviews contract provisions for completeness and compliance. You will have the opportunity to conduct training activities as well as interface directly with small and small diverse businesses through technical assistance and outreach at trade shows, seminars, and conferences to encourage and advocate for increased participation in state contracts. Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
Telework: For the first 90 days of employment, you are expected to report to the office three (3) days per week for On-Boarding Training. At the end of the 90 days, you may have the opportunity to work from home (telework), part-time, three (3) days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as an Equal Opportunity Specialist 1 or Human Resource Analyst 1 (Commonwealth titles); or
Successful completion of the Pennsylvania Management Associate program (Commonwealth title); or
Two years of analytical experience in an equal opportunity program that includes one year of professional experience, and a bachelor's degree; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:
