Monitors preventive maintenance on all plant equipment

Emergency repairs

Assist with design and plan installation of new equipment

Provide safe work environment for all plant personnel

Overtime, Weekend and Off shift work may be required

Skills

Preferred 2 to 5 years of maintenance experience.

Knowledge and understanding of what it means to work SAFELY at all times.

Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical problems.

Ability to read blueprints, mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and ladder logic.

Ability to create, wire and troubleshoot electrical control systems (Motor starts push button stations, valve controls, safety switches).

Ability to design, install, and troubleshoot functional and safe systems from an operational concept.

Ability to rebuild Pneumatic cylinders, Schraeder valves and Mac valves.

Plumbing skills to include but not limited to steel tube, rubber hose, PVC, black pipe and conduit.

General skills such as welding, proficiency with cutting torches, and general fabrication.

Experience reading and programming Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).

Automated systems including robotics, PLC and relay logic.

Ability to comprehend and troubleshoot using hydraulic blueprints.

Ability to size and design system for new equipment.

Ability to design size and specific using conceptual design size type and placement.
