Are you a Problem Solver?Join our team as a

Network Administrator I who will provide support for network hardware and software, implement, and maintain backup and recovery procedures. You will provide programming skills to maintain internal software tools as provide new ones as deemed necessary.

Your Work Will Include:Network Administration
  • Maintain, repair and upgrade network hardware and software as needed.
  • Diagnose, fix and prevent problems with the network, its hardware, software and systems.
  • Recommend upgrades, patches and new applications or equipment.
  • Ensure network software license compliance.
  • Monitor network and systems to improve performance.
  • Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures.
Organizational Security
  • Assist in elevating the business security landscape.
  • Regularly monitor logs and network traffic to identify any malicious behavior and act upon it as appropriate.
  • Create and maintain process and procedure documents as needed.
  • Create and maintain training documents for employees and provide periodic trainings based upon a skill gap analysis of the employee base.
  • Implement and maintain automated tools to perform network scans and send notifications automatically of any abnormalities.
  • Monitor, triage and perform remediation for any threats detected by the anti-virus software.
  • Monitor reported phishing emails and act accordingly based on severity and any actions taken on the email.

  • Providing programming and scripting support for internal tools
  • Documenting all new processes and procedures as well as keep current documentation up to date
  • Researching and recommending solutions and assist in implementing those solutions
  • Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
Working with Internal Team
  • Assisting other members of the Systems Department as necessary
  • Participating in a wide variety of special projects
  • Communicating with co-workers, management, consultants, and others in a courteous and professional manner

A Qualified Candidate:
  • Possess a minimum of an Associate Degree – CIS/MIS
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Acute analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Possess strong organizational skills.
  • Possess the ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as the ability to work as a productive member of a team when necessary
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, including the ability to resolve issues quickly.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft server products
  • Familiarity with a hybrid Windows/OSX environment preferred.
  • Programming and scripting skills a plus.
