Role: PHP DeveloperLocation: Erie PA Responsibilities:Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following an agile software development lifecycleMaintain current production systemsWork with lead engineers to accurately estimate the scope and effort required to deliver complex projectsWork with product managers and fellow engineers to come up with creative solutionsAct as a senior-level engineering coder and guide other software engineers on the teamParticipate in code reviews, design sessions, technical root cause analysis and scrum meetingsDetermine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutionsProvide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issuesDocument and demonstrate solutions by developing records, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear codeUpdate job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipmentProtect operations by keeping information confidentialSkills & Qualifications:Proficient in PHP 7Strong experience in PHP frameworks, such as Symfony, Laravel, ZendProficient in MySQL and relational database designFluent in HTML5, CSS3Deep working knowledge of Javascript; NodeJS experience is a plusExperience with ReactJS (or equivalent framework) is preferredStrong understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns and programming best practicesStrong experience building and consuming REST web servicesExperience developing and supporting enterprise class or high availability systemsFamiliar with Git – merging, branching, etc.Familiar with Composer, NPM, WebpackExperience in using nginx and/or ApacheFamiliar with Redis, MemcachedSome experience with AWS, Ansible and/or Docker is preferredVery comfortable in Linux command lineCompetencies:Demonstrate strong technical expertise and ability to develop extensible and high-quality softwareMust have strong analytical and numerical skillsMust have strong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to consistently implement business and technical requirementsCan quickly learn and work effectively with existing code, new frameworks, technologies or cloud servicesAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentCan prioritize workload efficientlyTeam player mentality and solutions-orientedEducation and Experience:A minimum of 5+ years of working as a full stack PHP developer is requiredA minimum of five years related work experience is required, including at least two years in a senior engineering roleBachelor’s degree in a relevant subject such as computation, software engineering or information technology  Regards, ManojDerex Technologies INCContact : 973-834-5005 Ext 206
