OVERVIEW:
The purpose of the Senior Project Manager position is to provide project planning and project management services for all departments within the organization to ensure effective planning for major credit union initiatives and timely, efficient completion of projects. This role requires regular analysis of data and the ability to meet somewhat complex interpersonal, analytical and organizational demands.
The Senior Project Manager position reports into the Members 1st Project Management Office and performs under moderate supervision. The Senior Project Manager demonstrates sufficient working knowledge of project management practices and procedures and applies them effectively. The key responsibilities of this role include initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing assigned business and technology projects in accordance with the Members 1st Project Management Process. The Senior Project Manager partners effectively, building relationships across the organization to engage stakeholders in project governance activities.
EDUCATION:
General and business knowledge equivalent to a bachelor's degree in Business Management or Technology Associate degree with certifications
EXPERIENCE
5-8 years of professional project management experience
