IMMEDIATELY HIRING for a FULL TIME opportunity located in the Croydon, PA area for a Production Coordinator. The Production Coordinator is responsible for scheduling production and ensuring on-time delivery of products to our customers. This role involves hands-on production planning and facilitating manufacturing activities and workflow. The position coordinates work through various stages of production, identifies, and helps resolve operational issues, and ensures materials and supplies are available by coordinating with purchasing and inventory departments. Create Master Schedule and regulate the flow of work within and between manufacturing departments.
Coordinate manpower and materials according to production and shipping schedules.
Establish priorities based on customer targeted delivery dates.
Coordinate initial staging of material/kits to the Assembly Department prior to the start of the process.
Change Master Schedule and reprioritize when issues arise due to manpower or material constraints.
Conduct manufacturing floor walks to ensure jobs are progressing on schedule.
Reduce non-value-added processes and streamline processes to reduce lead-time and improve on-time delivery.
Spend 80-90% of the day on the production floor.
Communicate with the Sales Team regarding the schedule and status of jobs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 3 years experience involving production control activities in a manufacturing environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with MRP/ERP software systems preferred.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Self-starter who takes initiative and performs tasks independently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in production supervision, assembly, and safety.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and process improvement.
Experience in production management, continuous improvement, and manufacturing operations.
Familiarity with job preparation and industrial operations.
