Provide oversight for substation installations, including developing checkout guides, reviewing and approving test results, and creating equipment energization plans.
Offer final technical approval of equipment before release to transmission operations.
Develop and manage on-site work plans, isolation (cut-over) plans, functional test plans, and equipment lists.
Handle final documentation uploads, completion of project binders, equipment energization lists, and notifications of unintended incidents.
Identify and resolve design errors during installation and testing phases.
Apply engineering skills and operational knowledge to solve technical problems in the field.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering or engineering technology from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 7 years of relevant substation field engineering experience.
