Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist based in CONSHOHOCKEN, Pennsylvania. This role is integral to our finance team and involves handling various accounting tasks, primarily focusing on accounts payable. The successful candidate will be engaged in a diverse range of responsibilities, including processing invoices, setting up vendors, and assisting with the month-end close process.Responsibilities: Execute the accurate and efficient processing of accounts payable invoices. Manage vendor relationships and handle vendor inquiries. Oversee credit card purchases and ensure they are correctly recorded. Set up new vendors in the system, including obtaining necessary W-9 forms. Generate job cost reports for review and analysis. Carry out reconciliation of statements to ensure accuracy of records. Assist in the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accounted for. Utilize accounting software systems such as QuickBooks Desktop for various tasks. Apply knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning in performing duties. Utilize ADP - Financial Services and Concur in financial management processes. Requirements Proficiency in accounting software systems is required Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is essential Experience in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks required Must have a comprehensive understanding of accounting functions Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary Understanding of accrual accounting principles is needed Ability to perform auditing tasks is advantageous Experience in account coding is essential Must be able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
