We are seeking an individual to assist with the daily operation of our Pre-K Counts program. An Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university including 18 Early Childhood education credits and one (1) year of documented experience with children or a High School Diploma or GED certificate and completion of a post-secondary training curriculum approved by the Dept. of Education (CDA) and two (2) years of documented experience with children is required.Duties
Provide quality client services such as inquiries, enrollment, and arrangments for wrap-around care and transportation
-Work in the classroom to provide teacher breaks and after-care
Act as a liaison between Pre-K Counts, administration, and childcare
Represent the program when the teacher and aide are unavailable
Organize and complete consistent recruitment/public relations efforts
Assist with grant applications, administration, and reports
Provide the following clerical support: answer program calls, enter computer data, proo, compose letters and memos, prepare mailings, schedule appointments, file, read/route program mail, and keep records
Work with Pre-K Counts and childcare staff to ensure compliance
Assist teachers in the summer with preparation for the next school year
