Franklin County, located in south central Pennsylvania between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh with its southern boundary between Pennsylvania and Maryland, also known as the Mason-Dixon Line, is seeking a Planning Director to manage and provide guidance for the County Planning Program and all of its components.
Qualifications include a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in planning or related professional capacity and 3 or more years of supervisory experience; or any combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may also be considered. Candidates must possess a 4-year degree in urban and regional planning, environmental planning or related degree and Masters degree is preferred.
