Overview: The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, control, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with the Company's overall strategy and goals. This role is responsible for creating project plans, tracking progress, communicating with stakeholders, and removing any barriers that might prevent the success of the project being delivered on-time and on-budget.

Travel for this position may be up to 25% as needed for project work including weekends.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Define, plan, and administer project management-related activities for the multiple complex advisory projects;

Work with subject matter experts (SMEs), technical staff, vendors/partners, client teams, and others to ensure the operational and financial success of projects and programs under management;

Manage projects by defining scope, schedules, deliverables, and risk plans;

Organize and lead project status updates, prepare and distribute progress reports, and correct deviations from plans;

Assist in the development of scopes of work, budgets, timelines, and other business documents;

Support the Customer Delivery team in in development and deployment of project processes and training to other project managers across the business;

Develop and maintain a professional level of knowledge regarding Inovalon's services and products;

Focus on regular and timely delivery of value;

Maintain compliance with Inovalon's policies, procedures and mission statement;

Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon's Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position; and

Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer.

Job Requirements:

Minimum four (4) years' experience managing complex projects/programs, with operational and financial responsibility;

Experience in a PMO at a healthcare or communications/marketing firm highly desired;

Excellent attention to detail;

Proven ability to initiate and drive multiple projects simultaneously through to completion;

Strong project management skills including project initiation, project plan creation, resource allocation, time/schedule management, risk management, budget tracking, prioritization, and status reporting;

Ability to influence team members and business partners toward common goals;

Superior oral and written communications skills in order to clearly and effectively convey issues, reports, and other deliverables;

Ability to build trust and cultivate relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders;

Problem definition and resolution skills;

Knowledge of PMBOK/PMI projectmanagement principles and theories;

Advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills; demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Project and/or Smartsheet a bonus; and

Positive, professional, responsive, and solution-oriented attitude.

Education:

BS/BA degree from accredited college/university required; and

Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification stron ly preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time) Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force;

Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;

Subject to inside environmental conditions; and

Travel for this position will include up to 25% including weekends.
