Join our Data Center Sector and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.Your new roleWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Engineer focused on supporting Ramboll’s Data Center Sector across our Northeast offices. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the planning and preliminary design phases of data center projects, as well as supporting civil engineering practice area projectsYour key responsibilities will be:Project and Team Leadership: Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception through construction, ensuring timely and efficient delivery while providing technical guidance to project teams.Design and Development: Oversee and develop detailed civil engineering designs for infrastructure projects such as site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations as well as Ramboll’s sustainability goals.Client Interaction and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, present design solutions, and maintain strong professional relationships; work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, environmental, geotechnical, mechanical and electrical engineers, and construction professionals to integrate civil engineering solutions.Project Documentation and Risk Management: Prepare and review detailed engineering reports, specifications, and construction documents; identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and innovations, integrating new technologies and practices into project delivery.About youEducation: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.Experience: 7+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong focus on site layout and stormwater design projects.Licensure: Active Professional Engineering licensure preferredWhat we can offer youInvestment in your developmentLeaders you can count on, guided by our Leadership PrinciplesBeing valued for the unique person you areNever being short of inspiration from colleagues, clients, and projectsThe long-term thinking of a foundation-owned companyReady to join us?Please submit your application with your up-to-date CV. At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at an annual base salary between $96,677 - $120,846.  Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range, depending on numerous factors, including experience, geographical location, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and skill level, and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
