Engineer Training Program - Design

The Engineer Training Program- Design is a full-time entry level position working through a rotation schedule to get a fully immersive experience of designing Industrial Hydraulics. Job responsibilities include:Development and design of the Power Unit/Manifold product linesCreate, amend, and verify assembly and detail design drawings for the manufacturing of power units based on customer requirements/specifications and in accordance with department and industry standardsProduce design releases and final production bills of materialsGenerate Engineering Change Notifications when necessaryDesign cost efficient and technically sound power units/manifoldsResponsible for meeting project time and budget requirementsAssist Production and Quality departments with risk assessments of deviations to design, including FEASupport Sales & Engineering in the review of customer specifications prior to quotation, including design time estimates as well as conceptual designsWork with other departments or outside vendors in proper specification or interpretation of materials or work instructionsMaintain well-organized design files in accordance with department and company proceduresPerform other essential and related peripheral duties as assigned
