Fabrication & Assembly: Use various hand tools, power tools, and machines (e.g., saws, grinders, welding equipment, drills) to fabricate parts and components per blueprints, work orders, and specifications.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions to understand the required specifications for each production run.
Material Handling: Select, measure, cut, and prepare raw materials (metal, plastic, etc.) according to production needs.
Welding & Joining: Perform welding, brazing, or soldering techniques as needed for joining parts and assemblies.
Quality Control: Inspect finished components for dimensional accuracy and surface quality using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Assembly: Assemble fabricated components into subassemblies or finished products, ensuring all parts are properly aligned and securely attached.
Maintenance & Setup: Set up and maintain machinery and tools to ensure consistent quality and efficiency. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns.
