With a proven track record in dealing with the on-demand transportation needs for blood and platelets to hospitals, blood banks, and laboratories, Capital Courier Services, LLC (CCS), a specialized courier service focusing on the medical and healthcare industry, is seeking 1099 Independent contractors to join our team as a Medical Courier in Johnstown, PA.
Deliveries are local and regional and are set up on an as-needed, day-to-day basis. If contracted, you will be responsible for transporting medical products like blood, plasma, specimens, and medical supplies to and from customers’ sites and hospitals.
This position requires that you drive your own vehicle. Fuel and Maintenance are at the contractor's expense.
Pay is based on a CPLM (Cent per loaded mile) Pickup to the Destination. Some routed work is occasionally available.

Minimum Qualifications:
-Medical courier experience preferred, but not required
-2010 or newer vehicle
-Commitment to Excellence
-Valid driver's license
-Clean 3-year Motor Vehicle Record
-Ability to communicate effectively
-Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, climbing, and overhead lifting.
-Requires sharp attention to detail and a strong ability to keep a schedule
