Responsibilities:Provide non-medical, in-home care and personal care to clients. This can include, but is not limited to the following duties:
Meal preparation cooking nutritionally balanced meals based on the client's individual requirements.
Light housekeeping cleaning floors, vacuuming carpets, surface cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms and furniture, linen change.
Laundry washing, drying, ironing, folding.
Companionship care visiting, talking, reading, walks, activities, etc.
Errand services grocery shopping, dry-cleaning, etc.
Transportation to appointments doctor, hair salon, etc.
Personal care assist with personal hygiene, bathing, incontinence care, toileting.
Qualifications:Qualified candidates for this position must:
Be compassionate, honest, caring and reliable.
Have a valid drivers license with a good driving record. Must have reliable transportation.
Be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
Experience as a nursing assistant in home care or in a healthcare facility is preferred.
Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program is not required but is helpful.
Be able to pass the following: Pre-employment drug screen, random drug screens, PPD testing prior to employment.
Be able to physically assist with client transfers.
