Mechanically inclined is a PLUS
Construction background is a PLUS!
Minimum one year recent experience in the Pest Control industry is a PLUS.
The ability to perform essential job functions, including, but not limited to job functions that involve walking, ascend/descend stairs and ladders, carrying up to 35 pounds, and position self to conduct service under/around furniture, equipment, and tight spaces (including crawlspaces)
The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Technical proficiency with computers, smartphones, etc.
A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Good oral and written communication skills
Solid attention to detail
Availability to work a flexible schedule
Availability to work some weekends
Responsibilities:
- Conduct pest control inspections and identify infestations or potential problem areas
- Develop and implement pest control treatment plans
- Apply pesticides and other pest control products safely and effectively
- Monitor and document pest control activities and results
- Provide recommendations to clients on pest prevention and maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of service visits and customer interactions
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in pest control or related field preferred
- Knowledge of pests, their habits, and effective treatment methods
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as needed
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients in a professional manner
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
Weekends, as needed.
