Buckeye Partners is currently seeking a Specialist, Asset Management to join our team!
Role Summary:
The Specialist, Asset Management provides oversight to the policies, processes, and transactions which support the movement and reconciliation of assets and inventory parts.This role is responsible for asset and inventory data governance, data integrity, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting. The EAM team ensures appropriate interfaces to maintenance, finance, supply chain, and project management teams to ensure the collection of data support the overall tracking of assets and asset costs, and inventory and inventory-related costs.
Responsibilities & Essential Functions include:
Materials & Supplies (M&S) Inventory
Support development of an Inventory Management Site Audit Plan and accompanying Site Audit Checklist
Possess a broad knowledge of day-to-day Inventory and Warehouse Management activities across multiple business segments (GMT, Terminals, Pipelines, Solar) andprovide proactive analysis to troubleshoot end user issues.
Identify opportunities for enhancing processes and technological enablement of M&S inventory management practices.
Support training development and define various stakeholder needs to ensure relevance to respective stakeholders.
Ensure M&S Inventory Management compliance processes for various stakeholders (e.g., finance, SOMS, Operations)
Provide software enhancement recommendations and general support.
Assets
Support training development and define various stakeholder needs to ensure relevance to respective stakeholders.Governance
Define and implement master data techniques and data dictionary components (metadata management and item standardization)
Analytics & Reporting
Monitor M&S inventory Management process KPIs.
Analyze periodic reports of Inventory Management activities and performance related to process and compliance.
Provide status reports for periodic cycle count activities.
And other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Oil & Gas and/or construction preferred.
Industry commodity experience preferred.
JD Edwards Inventory module, Capital Asset Management (CAM) preferred.
Data analysis/data mining preferred
Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or other related discipline preferred
Understanding of financial systems, asset management, inventory management, management reporting, and supporting processes preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
