Adjunct Clinical Nursing Instructor (Allentown, PA) – Holy Family University

The School of Nursing and Health Sciences seeks applications from potential adjunct clinical instructors for day and evening for the following subject areas:Obstetrics ClinicalPediatrics ClinicalAll employees must understand the mission of Catholic higher education and be committed to the core values, mission, goals, and objectives of Holy Family University.ResponsibilitiesTeach clinical skills in the assigned discipline.Use appropriate technology (including Canvas).Respond to email correspondence from coordinators and students in a timely manner.Communicate issues to didactic faculty, course coordinator and Clinical Coordinator and Program CoordinatorGrade clinical assignments (care plans, patient care worksheets, concept maps, SBAR, etc.) and provide timely feedback.Oversee up to 8 students per clinical group and complete all required clinical paperwork.Clinical hours are typically 12 hours per dayMonitor, evaluate, and document student achievement of learning objectives and outcomes.Conduct daily debriefing with their group of 12 students.Incorporate best-practice/evidence-based practice in nursing practice
