Part-Time Preconstruction & Bid Coordinator
Construction Easton, PA Remote OK
Easton General Contractors LLC (licensed in PA & NJ) delivers projects in the
$200K–$800K range: residential/light-commercial repairs & renovations, framing/drywall,
sidewalks/concrete, and landscaping.
Role (ideal for retired PE/RA/Estimator/Project Engineer)
Review plans/specs (Arch/Struct/MEP/Civil); track addenda & clarifications
Perform light quantity takeoffs & scope matrices; flag scope gaps and VE/alternates
Prepare bid packages, bidder lists, and bid-leveling tabs
Draft RFIs and organize submittal requirements by CSI MasterFormat
Monitor opportunities: PlanHub, ConstructConnect, iSqFt, Dodge; public portals (SAM.gov, BidNet, VendorLine)
Maintain portal profiles; enter opportunities into Zoho CRM; help with cover letters/bid packets
Qualifications
5+ years in A/E, estimating, or preconstruction (retired/semi-retired welcome)
Comfortable reading CDs/specs; Bluebeam Revu & Excel; PlanSwift/STACK a plus
Familiar with public procurement; Davis-Bacon/prevailing wage/WH-347 exposure a plus
Organized, detail-driven, clear written communication
Details
Pay: $25–$40/hr DOE
Hours: 10–15 per week (flexible)
Location: Easton, PA — remote OK; occasional local visit a plus
