Job Title: Maintenance MechanicJob DescriptionWe are currently recruiting a Level II or III Industrial Maintenance Mechanic with 5-7+ years minimum hands-on experience with mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing, lockout/tagout/tryout, and automated equipment operations. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong communication skills and will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting various mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment.Responsibilities
Perform routine equipment repairs and preventative maintenance.
Assemble and disassemble mechanical machines and facilities equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment failures to identify and resolve root causes of malfunctions.
Perform preventative maintenance and configure/repair plumbing.
Assist Controls and Automation Technicians with basic electrical, PLC/controls, and automation troubleshooting and repairs.
Essential Skills
5+ years of professional experience or equivalent technical training in the maintenance of pneumatic, electrical, vacuum, or mechanical systems.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Experience with technical troubleshooting, including the use of multimeters and voltmeters.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral.
Proficient in shop mathematics and understanding both SAE and Metric measurements.
Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing duties.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with PLC/electrical/electronics/robotics systems is a plus.
Knowledge of arc flash safety is preferable.
Level II: Minimum of four years work experience in a manufacturing environment as a maintenance mechanic, with technical training credited as work experience.
Level III: 7+ years of applied technical experience as a mechanic or electronics/controls/automation technician in a manufacturing environment, with technical training credited as work experience.
