Job Description:Need an Administrative Assistant who will be comfortable addressing customers' concerns and addressing issues that arise. This person will also be doing data entry and ensuring the accuracy of purchase orders, freight minimums, pricing, and shipping orders. Primarily interacting with customers via email but will also provide customer service over the phone.
Provide customer satisfaction through effective interactions.
Answer and process inbound calls.
Demonstrate positive and cooperative behavior with customers and co-workers.
Meet productivity, quality, and punctuality standards.
Process customer purchase orders and other special requests as approved by management.
Review and explain promotions, service, and product features to reps and dealers. Troubleshoot and work to solve customer service issues.
Review orders received for price accuracy and return to customer with discrepancies.
Inform customer of unit prices errors, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed.
Advise customer if the order is close to the free freight minimum and inquire if they would like to take advantage of the discount by adding on to the order.
Follow up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates.
Provide open order reports generated by the system to advise customers of updated shipping ETA’s.
Check shipping orders to ensure they are accurate with regards to quantity shipped, this is done by comparing shipping documents with computer generated reports.
Receive and check customer complaints as well as answer customer inquiries.

2-4 years of experience in customer service
