USCS - A rapidly expanding nationwide courier and logistics company is seeking an independent contractor for a local delivery route from Salem to Portland. This job offers great work life balance. This is a great role for someone commuting from Salem to Portland each day.
Details:
- The base schedule is Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 12:00pm with an intermission and then a quick pickup at 2:30pm delivering at 2:50pm.
- The exact schedule may vary slightly based on client needs, and may be subject to slight changes. Applicants with flexible schedules will be prioritized
- Route consists of only a few pickups per day.
- The route will entail picking up and delivering small parcels of lab samples.
- Additional routes, jobs and opportunities available.

Requirements:
- Candidate must be able to fully commit to the schedule and be flexible if more working hours are needed
- Reliable and fuel vehicle, valid driver’s license and smart phone are required
- TWIC Card is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and FBI background screening.
- Candidate must be able to navigate and work quickly
- Experience doing courier or delivery work is a must
- Candidate must have excellent communication skills and be able to always answer the phone
- Great attention to detail is required
- Good attitude and reliability is required
- Professional appearance and demeanor is required
- Candidate must have the desire to grow with a rapidly expanding courier company.
