WHO ARE WE: Hobbs Painting Inc.is a Silverton based company that has been in the painting industry for over 30 years. Serving the Marion County / Salem area.
WHAT DO WE DO: We specialize in residential repaints and light commercial painting both interior and exterior. We pride ourselves in providing our customers detailed and quality work with excellent customer service. Our company motto is "Quality work done by a reliable craftsmen."
WHAT WE EXPECT: We need people to be clean cut, and neat and tidy in appearance. We are looking for a full time conscientious and responsible craftsmen who take pride in their work and can be relied upon to show up on time, work hard and do a good job. Must wear white painter pants.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required to drive company van. NO EXCEPTIONS. Must have all own hand tools (grip).
HOW MUCH DOES IT PAY: We pay per hour with bi-weekly pay
PAINTER APPRENTICE POSITION: $17-$22(D.O.E.)
Apprentice Skills Needed
1. 2 years in residential painting
2. Brushing and Rolling
3. Must be skilled in all phases of prep work (including pressure washing)
4. Ability to work on ladders up to 40ft.
5. Use scissor lifts and boom lifts up to 65ft
6. Willing to learn and use paint equipment safely.
7. Willing to work as team member
