Local full service property management firm seeking a half time handyman that also will handle apartment showings, bank deposits, inspections, mail pick up, and related tasks. Were seeking a responsible, mature individual who will work a middle of the day schedule 10am to 2pm (noon lunch) or, possibly an afternoon schedule, 1 to 5pm. The days worked could be Monday-Friday, but wed prefer a Tuesday-Saturday schedule. There will be some separate emergency situations/days where this position may help with after-hours emergencies. Primary range of maintenance tasks, in coordination with our other in house staff, include painting (rolling/brushing and if you can spray, thats helpful too), drywall fixes (hang, patch, tape/mud, texture, prime), minor cabinet work (install cabinet doors, hinges, staining), minor electrical (installing outlets/switches/lights), door / trim / casework (install doors, closet doors, trim, and repairs), minor plumbing (installing sinks/toilets/unplug clogs, caulking), minor appliance repairs, installing blinds/drapes, landscape supplementation (we have landscape contractors), and working with contractors on those tasks outside the scope. Use of personal equipment/tools and vehicle is required/helpful, but we do have equipment and tools in van and storage rooms. Our goal is to have staff who are committed to maintaining high end commercial and residential communities in first class condition with professional service.
Having knowledge of/ability to use Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook is helpful, but not required.

Compensation varies based on skill and experience level. The basic wage is $15 per hour. All employees are eligible for employer paid 6% retirement contributions. We also have a Cafeteria Plan to pay for qualified out of pocket medical costs with pre-tax dollars. Paid time off accrues at a rate of two weeks per year.
