We are seeking Stainless Steel TIG Welders that can also fit for our client in Lebanon & Toledo Oregon.
Per diem if qualified.
Responsibilities:
Perform TIG welding on various metal components and structures
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
Set up and operate welding equipment and tools
Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications
Clean and prepare workpieces for welding
Assemble fabricated metal parts using various techniques
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Skills:
Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of welding principles
Proficient in TIG welding techniques and processes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
Experience working with sheet metal and other metal materials
Knowledge of stick welding is a plus
Familiarity with power tools used in metal fabrication
Ability to solder and use other joining methods as required
Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds
Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot welding issues
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Requirements:
Must pass weld test
