Job Description

Crop Operations Manager

Berries Northwest, LLC

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

- Oversee, manage, and properly document the execution of the following programs that are put in place through collaboration with BNW Management, Field Men, and Other Specialists:

o Conventional/Organic Nutrition Program

o Conventional/Organic Insecticide Program

o Conventional/Organic Fungicide Program

o Conventional/Organic Herbicide Program

o Any other application not specifically listed.

- Coordinate and manage all applications related to BNW's certified Organic ranches. This includes ensuring all proper steps are taken on equipment moving between conventional and organic ranches.

- Manage and properly document all functions related to BNW's certified Organic ranches. This includes ensuring all materials applied are not only OMRI approved, but also on DSA's organic input list.

- Coordinate and manage all application with Ranch Managers and BNW Management. Watch irrigation schedules to ensure applications are effective, and track all PHI's to ensure MRI compliance.

- Experience with spray & GPS controllers in order to calibrate and maintain.

- Computer proficiency required in order to maintain chemical & pesticide records online, as well as email and required research.

- Assist with Harvest duties when needed seasonally.

- Coordinate, manage, and continue to train all applicators.

- Manage inventory of materials for storage as well as timely applications.

- Ensure proper maintenance of application equipment to encourage reliability during critical application periods.

- Work with Ranch Managers to ensure proper maintenance of all other BNW equipment.

- Obtain and maintain a pesticide applicators license with the State of Oregon.

- Have and maintain a valid driver's license.
