Job description:
The Ideal recruiter will work closely with our branch manager and manage sourcing, interviewing and employment processes. The ideal candidate is a team player who is able to make effective decisions quickly along with keeping our core values in mind. We are looking for the right team member that has a proven track record in customer service to join our Salem team.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Order fill rates for temporary assignments, temp-to-perm and direct hire placements meet or exceed established targets for the branch
Establishes priorities in office activities
Responsible for maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures
Participates in local organizations and job fairs and make presentations for various organizations
Update current and new recruiting procedures (e.g. job application and onboarding processes)
Participate in job fairs and career events
Regularly performs recruiter duties such as interviewing and placements
Perform miscellaneous duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven work experience as a Recruitment Consultant or Recruiting Coordinator
Experience with (phone and in-person) interviews, candidate screening and evaluation
Familiarity with social media and other professional networks
Knowledge of, and ability to use, Microsoft Office products
Must pass a pre-employment tests
Must have a valid Driver’s License and good driving record
Excellent communications skills, both written and oral
