Express Employment Professionals is now hiring a Customer Service Rep for a local medical supply company based in Salem, OR. This position is responsible for reaching out to existing patients who are eligible to upgrade their medical equipment, and is ideal for those with customer service experience looking for a long-term role!
Customer Service Representative will be responsible for:
Making outbound calls to customers and patients to let them know their equipment can be upgraded when applicable.
Enthusiastically greeting and checking-in walk-in patients.
Answering telephones, directing calls and taking messages.
Collecting co-insurance and billing payments, and other clerical duties as assigned.
Swiftly getting familiar with medical supplies and uses.
Creating orders and preparing them for shipping.
Accurate data entry and using basic computer functions.
Assisting in closing duties: organizing and maintaining the office common areas.
Skills needed:
Adept with accurate data entry and basic computer functions.
Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Compassionate and professional demeanor
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to build positive relationships
Experience needed:
Previous customer service experience REQUIRED
Previous experience working in a medical setting HIGHLY PREFERRED
Bilingual in Spanish and English HIGHLY PREFERRED
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
High School Diploma / GED
This is a long-term, evaluation to hire position located in Salem, Oregon.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
Pay: $13.00-$15.00/hour Depending on Experience
