Job Description: Full Cycle Bookkeeper
The full cycle bookkeeper is responsible for overseeing and executing all accounting activities for the company, from data entry to financial reporting. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accounting knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
Process and record financial transactions on a daily basis
Prepare and reconcile bank statements
Invoice clients and process accounts receivable
Process accounts payable and vendor expenses
Work with PEO for payroll processing and related human resource duties
Maintain accuracy of the general ledger
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Assist with tax return preparation
Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred)
3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel)
Excellent organizational and time management skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
Bookkeeping certification
Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns
Experience in construction industry
Monthly Salary range $4,200 to $6,250 depending on experience
