Since 1921 Douglas County Farmers Co-op has been serving the needs of agriculturists large and small throughout Southern Oregon. We currently have a full time opening for the Lead Carry-Out position at our Roseburg store. This person is responsible for the daily carryout of feed and related products for our customers and for providing clear direction to the carry-out team. Applicants should be able to work well with others while encouraging teamwork in a fast-paced environment that requires constant hustle, attention to detail, a strong work ethic and outstanding customer service skills.
Requirements:
Prior retail experience.
Experience in team leadership.
6 months forklift experience.
Agricultural background with a working knowledge of livestock feeds and grains.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Tasks include:
Keeping feed decks organized, stocked, cleaned and free of loose debris.
Re-bagging broken and torn bags.
Keeping aisles and parking lot clean and clear.
Cleaning of restrooms and emptying garbage cans.
Repetitive lifting of weight up to 50 pounds with an occasional occurrence of weights that may exceed 300 pounds.
Requires that you be able to stoop, bend, twist, kneel, and have considerable flexibility.
Requires excellent customer service skills as this person has the last contact with our customer.

The position will work 40 hours per week. The shifts fall between store hours of 8:00am - 6:00pm, the schedule will vary each week to include weekends. A pre-employment drug screen is required.
