Local shopping center offering part-time maintenance position. Estimated at 8-15 hrs a week.
Must be available weekends (4hr shift per day) and occasional hours during the week as needed to assist with special projects.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to work independently and efficiently complete multiple tasks.
Work effectively and cordially with a variety of people & situations, both pleasant and unpleasant.
Must be able to respond effectively with time pressures, stress and rapid change.
Must carry a self-supplied cell phone for communication with Maintenance Supervisor.
Ability to relate to staff and public in a courteous manner.
Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
Physical Requirements:
Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
Manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform a full 8-hour shift.
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to bend over, stretch, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time, climb stairs and/or ladders, reach, twist and squat.
Ability to work occasionally in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow.
