Outside Sales Representative – Office, Industrial, or residential

We are looking for a dedicated Outside Sales Representative to join our family owned busyness. We have been family owned and operated Moving, Storage and local freight transport. We are looking for a driven, motivated sales person to help us grow new business as well as cultivate existing relationships. A successful person in this role will have a can-do attitude, have experience working in a blue collar field and be accustomed to cultivating meaningful relationships with new and existing accounts. Because we are family owned and operated, we all chip-in pick up the pieces where needed and help with anything and everything. Someone who is excited to add value in a challenging and fast-paced environment will be great for this role.

Responsibilities:

Identify and target B2B prospects, create outreach and go-to-market strategy and execute in a professional and timely manner

Develop and maintain relationships with new customer base, as well as existing house accounts

Respond to inbound leads, calls and inquiries with urgency and professionalism; follow up with leads in a timely manner

Leverage CRM to track outreach, prospects and results

Ensure a positive client experience by ensuring impeccable customer service, timely communication and proactively identifying areas of improvement, challenge and resolving them in a timely manner

Work with the customer to ensure great service throughout the entire service cycle (from delivery and beyond)

Create complete and accurate estimates & quotes for both new and existing customers

Monitor sales trends and adapt to market conditions when driving and identifying new business

Continually enhance sales skills and maintain robust industry knowledge base to promote both a professional image and to add immense value to both prospects and existing accounts

Understand the ODOT and Washington transportation rules and regulations

Work closely with President and sales teams to glean best practices and identify areas of improvement within the outside sales lifecycle

Operate with a high level of integrity and humility

Skills:

Minimum of 3-5 years of outside sales experience preferred

Experience within moving, storage, transportation or other similar industries a plus

Able to work in fast-paced and dynamic environment

Someone with both strong communication skills and thick skin will be a great fit for this role

Can-do and roll up your sleeves attitude required

Systems savvy, including CRM experience, Microsoft office proficiency required

Degree preferred, not required

Strong references required from recent managers/supervisors Compensation:

Base + bonus
