We are a well-established Portland courier and process serving company, in business since 2000, with customers all over the Metro area. We are seeking to add to our staff of full or part time delivery drivers. Leading local courier/messenger company looking for a top notch on-demand delivery driver for our crew.
Qualifications for this job are;
Experience driving/routing in the Portland Metro Area.
- Fast thinker. Able to process new route info on the fly in a safe and organized manner.
- You must have a reliable car and/or van with insurance.
- Customer service background helpful and preferred.
- Neat and professional appearance.
- You will be asked to sign on as an independent contractor.
- Ideally you would be able to work most of 8:30am - 5:30pm, with breaks.
- Part time a possibility. We do many types of deliveries, from small package rushes, to legal filings and process serves, to freight. You should be a quick thinker and in good enough shape to lift the occasional heavier package. Pay would be on commission of our rates.
Quality drivers currently working for us average between $800-$1100 per week, depending on self motivation and number of hours worked. This would be a great opportunity for drivers working the "sharing economy" jobs to take a step up (you can carry more than one fare at a time and do not have to pick up people, just parcels/papers) and make more money in less time, or supplement what they already have going.
