Northwest Arbor-Culture Inc. Tree Experts, has multiple positions open for Experienced Tree Climbers / Climbing Arborist.
Location: Newberg, Oregon
Pay: $25 – $40 per hour, depending on experience
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Tree Climber to join our professional tree service team in Newberg, Oregon. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of tree climbing experience, rope work, rigging, and chainsaw operation.
Responsibilities:
Perform tree pruning, removals, and other arboricultural tasks
Safely operate climbing and rigging equipment
Communicate effectively with ground crew and crew leader
Follow all safety protocols and industry best practices
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
Requirements:
Proven experience as a tree climber and must have own climbing gear.
Strong knowledge of rope and climbing systems
Proficiency with chainsaw use and maintenance
Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
ISA certification a plus, but not required
